DMX Krew Serious

UK legend DMX Krew continues his impressive late career resurgence with yet another rock solid collection of punchy electro, this time on the venerated Magnetron Music label. Dipping a little further into the funk than recent efforts, Serious is brighter than his usual fare, but no less driven. The would-be title track ‘Seriously’ rides a snappy, 80’s-flavoured synth bass line that neatly recalls some of Herbie Hancock’s electronic experiments, while ‘Game Of Life’ cheekily lets a little light into a typically acidic DMX Krew banger.
